Famous german professor of palliative medicine Claudia Bausewein, director of the Department for Palliative Medicine in Munich University Hospital
accepted the invitation from Center for Palliative Care and will be presenting her lecture “The Role of Palliative Care in Modern Medicine” on a special event in Prague.
This event is the highlight of the campaign about palliative care for medical students „All´s well that ends well“.
The lecture will be held in english.

A world expert on geriatrics and palliative medicine professor Sean Morrison from Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in New York accepted the invitation from Center for Palliative Care and presented his lecture “Transforming Care for the Seriously Ill: The Role of Modern Palliative Care” in a special event in Prague.
Panel discussions took place on medical schools throughout the Czech Republic
Our team has visited seven medical schools during the campaign. Students learned about the importance of palliative care and participated in panel discussion with palliative medicine specialists.
